Collections

Braided Rivers offers two approaches to legacy storytelling, reflecting different scopes of work — from a single life story shaped with care, to multi‑generation histories woven over time.

Family Legacy

A commissioned, multi‑generation legacy project for families.

The Family Legacy collection brings together the stories of a family over time — voices, memories, and experiences that often sit alongside one another, rarely gathered in one place.

Through a deliberate process, these strands are gradually brought together into a single, coherent narrative. Each project is guided with discretion and clarity, allowing space for difference, overlap, and continuity across generations.

Form and scope are shaped in consultation with the family, reflecting the number of voices involved, the material available, and the purpose the record will serve.

By Enquiry

From time to time, individuals or families enquire with needs that fall outside the scope of the collections above. Where the work is aligned, these projects may be considered and shaped individually.

Personal Memoir

For individuals or couples.

The Personal Memoir collection records a single life, or a shared life, in written form.

Stories are gathered through a series of conversations, following the way memory moves — branching, looping back, and converging over time. From these currents, a clear narrative emerges, giving shape to a life without forcing it into strict sequence.

Each memoir takes its form from the person at its centre and the reason the story is being told. There is no fixed structure or standard length.
